Marriage Conference at KUC

Friday March 19 • 6:30-9pm

& Saturday March 20 • 9am-4pm

Join Pastor Marv in his class, Welcome To the Family on Sunday mornings.

This class will focus on the biblical teachings of our church and what it means to be an "official" member. Though this class is a requirement for "official" church membership, there is no obligation for attending. We encourage those who have attended KUC for a while but have not yet become members. Current members will also benefit greatly by attending. We would love to have you come!

Pastor Yoshi invites anyone whose first language is Japanese as we focus on the biblical teachings of our church, baptism & what it means to become a church member

•BAPTISM • March 28

On this Sunday we have only one worship service at 10:45am (7:15am service not meeting; Japanese Fellowship joins the English-speaking congregation). Following the service we encourage the church family to join us at Sand Island for the baptism! You may pick up a lunch in the Gym before going to Sand Island. From Sunday March 14, sign up if you want a lunch on March 28.

 

 

•FURLOUGH FRIDAYS at KUC begins Oct. 30, 2009

For students in grades K-6 (ONLY ages 6-12 years old)

Regular Day Program: 8am - 2pm • $12 per child per day

All Day Program: 8am - 5pm • $15 per child per day

Reaching out to families of the EFCA churches & those in the Kalihi community affected by the public school's Furlough Fridays, we offer a fun, instructive and God-led program for these children.

"High Seas Expedition"

For children in grades K-6 ('09-2010 school year)

Come sail the high seas and explore the mighty love of God with us! Join in and see that God's word is true, comforting, surprising, life changing and for everyone!

Regular program: 6:30am - 2:00pm

Aftercare: from 2-5:30pm

•Giving Glory to God Through Testimony

We are looking for people to serve on a team to help highlight testimonies from our KUC family. We need Editors, Photographers, Layout Designers, etc. If you have a willingness to help in any way, please contact Pastor Brad for more details.

 

 

•Coffee Fellowship Ministry Needs Volunteers

Sign-ups being taken for volunteers to help with our Sunday Coffee Ministry. Help is needed to set-up, provide refreshments and clean up.

A group of people from KUC is starting a ministry for those advanced in age, providing a time of weekly worship, Christian fellowship, activities & Bible study at KUC.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

We need people to provide support for this weekly ministry in the following areas: Bible teaching, music, refreshments, lunch preparation, transportation, set-up, crafts, exercise and to offer help with our elderly participants.

Praying for our Military Personnel

We would like to support those serving in the military in Iraq & Afghanistan by keeping them in prayer on a regular basis. If you have prayer requests for those connected with our church family and who are serving in the military, contact the church office.

You will learn how to use E100 for your daily devotions and share in mini groups, deal with questions from the texts and learn how to teach from one of the those texts.  Come and complete the journey with us.

We'll continue to focus on ways to equip and encourage each other in our life journeys. The goal of every man? Finish well! Open to men of all ages.

•Women's Koinonia (Senior Women)

This group of senior women shares a desire to grow stronger in their knowledge of God and develop a more intimate relationship with Him. They study the scriptures to refresh spirits and find strength and inspiration to meet the challenges facing the "mature" Christian. Come and connect with other senior women in genuine fellowship and Bible Study.

•Level Up (Young Adults, College Students)

All Young adults and college students welcome to join us for an encouraging fellowship on Sunday mornings. We also offer Bible study geared for the young adult on Tuesdays from 6pm.
